ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini each remember you inside their own app. Mia Chat remembers you inside a space, and those facts are still there when you change the model.

## What stays when you switch models

- Facts extracted from chats in this space
- Instructions for this space, up to 4,000 characters
- Up to five pinned files, 10 MB each, read only in this space
- Whether this space may search the web

Web search is available on every model in the picker except GPT-6 Astra.

## What stays out

A second space starts blank. Memories, instructions and files from the first space are not used there. Incognito saves nothing and remembers nothing.

You can open the memory list, add a fact, edit one, delete one, or export Markdown or JSON. Deleting the account deletes conversations, files and memories.

Mia21 does not train models on your chats.
